Objectives of the Course

It is aimed to provide graduate students with knowledge, awareness and sensitivity regarding research and publication ethics and to ensure that they carry out studies in accordance with research and publication ethics.

Course Content

The aim of this course is to provide information and awareness about the concept of Research Ethics, related sub- and super-concepts, the most debated research ethics issues today, clinical research, non-invasive clinical research, how scientific validity and reliability can be ensured in animal experiments, the most common research ethics violations and methods to prevent them, and what the paths to follow in case of a violation are detected.

Learning Outcomes
1.Student will be able to design the dimensions of scientific research method.
2.Student knows and applies scientific research methods.
3.The student gains the ability to conduct research and reporting within the framework of universal ethics.
4.The student will be able to have information about the presentation of reports in national and international organization.
5.The student knows the application of publication ethics and complies with the ethical rules in preparing reports.
6.Describe the concepts of research and publication ethics and the responsibilities of the researcher in ensuring that a study is ethically valid and reliable.
7.In line with the working discipline of research ethics committees that evaluate research from an ethical perspective, they will know and be able to apply the requirements to be considered in research project application files.
