Objectives of the Course

The aims of this course are; 1. to inform the students about zoonotic viruses 2. to describe zoonotic virus infections (Etiological, epidemiological, clinically, pathologically and diagnostically properties of these infections) 3. to inform about strategies for prevention from zoonotic viral infections

Course Content

Viral infections in various animal species and which are transmissible to man (arboviruses, rabies, avian influenza). Etiologically, epidemiologically, pathogenetically, clinically, diagnostically properties of these infections and prevention methods from zoonoses.

1.The students learn general knowledge about zoonotic viruses
2.Knows epidemiology, control and control strategies in zoonotic viral diseases.
3.Learn the role of veterinarians against zoonoses.

5.To have information about global and local control methods against viral zoonotic diseases.
