Objectives of the Course

Comparative course, local governments, local governments in Turkey, a short history and qualifications, the reflections of a world organization of different forms of social organization and public, modern local government systems, a comparative review of local government is to be done.

Course Content

The emergence of local administrations in Turkey, the Ottoman period, local governments, local governments in the Republican period, constitutions local governments, municipalities, special provincial administrations and structural investigation of village governments, local government associations, will focus on issues such as the Bank of Provinces, the local government in the world models are examined and compared with models will be implemented in Turkey. After comparison of the most effective practices by considering the basic elements of an ideal model of the local government tries to determine.
