Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to analyse the political games and international policies on the strategic oil and gas resources, and comprehending the threats on world energy security.

Importance of energy, energy resources, history of oil and natural gas, world energy reserves, energy supply security, energy demand security, pipelines, the threats for world energy security, global energy trends, Turkey's energy policy

2.To be able to analyse the global energy trends, interpret the developments and offer solutions
3.To be able to define Turkey's energy resources, energy strategies, and its position in international energy politics

5.To be able to comprehend international power balances in the background of energy security.
