Objectives of the Course

To discuss Immune, endocrine, cardiovascular systems, homeostasis and the fundamental principles of pathophysiology for reproductive, the health problems, the answer to the human body in the scope of midwifery practice

Course Content

homeostasis and factors that affect homeostasis, fluid and electrolyte and acid-base imbalances, shock pathophysiology, and the physiology of the immune system, some pathological conditions-midwifery approach in some pathological conditions-midwifery approach to the physiology of the cardio vascular system, endocrine system, and in some pathological conditions-midwifery approach to physiology, reproductive system physiology, and in some pathological conditions-midwifery approach physiological response to pain, and pain, and labor pain control, wound healing

1.To be able to explain the importance of health care in every step of the pathophysiology
2.To be able to explain homeostasis, fluid, electrolyte and acid-base balance and analyze changes in disease
3.To be able to explain and discuss physiology, and pathophysiology of Pregnancy, childbirth and post-natal periods, immune, endocrine, cardiovascular and reproductive systems,
4.To be able to explain and discuss midwifery care of the pathological conditions
5.To be able to apply a holistic approach to the individual care and follow-up
