Objectives of the Course

The purpose of this course, students have knowledge and skills in the psycho-social and cultural features of pregnancy, childbearing and postpartum periods, to decide to be parents and adaptation to pregnancy, adaptation to postpartum periods, achievement of motherhood role, psychological problems experienced in pregnancy and postpartum periods, early diagnosis and preventive midwifery care.

Course Content

During this lecture, it is examined the psycho-social and cultural features of pregnancy, childbearing and postpartum periods, to decide to be parents and adaptation to pregnancy, adaptation to postpartum periods, achievement of motherhood role, psychological problems experienced in pregnancy and postpartum periods, early diagnosis and preventive midwifery care.

6.To be able to count preventive midwifery care of the psychological problems experienced in pregnancy and postpartum periods
7.To be able to explain the adaptation of the spouse and children to pregnancy and postpartum periods
8.To be able to prepare case sample and present
