Since 2013-2014 academic year, our department has master's degree and doctorate education from interdisciplinary education. Postgraduate and doctorate education is given to undergraduate and graduate education related to human health.
The aim of the training carried out; It is to train people who can apply and create human systems in national and literature, who can apply and create human systems, who have reached the questioning, universal scientist, and who have knowledge and knowledge in the field of Mental Health and Diseases Nursing.

History
With the decision taken at the Higher Education General Assembly meeting dated 15/08/2013, it was deemed appropriate to open the Department of Elderly Health, Elderly Health and Care master's and doctorate programs.
Since the 2014 academic year, our department has started to recruit graduate and doctorate students.
Mission
The Elderly Health and Care program is dedicated to teaching, research and service that inspires and prepares students with knowledge, evidence and skills needed to provide leadership and service to improve the health and successful aging outcomes of current and future generations.
Vision
The Elderly Health and Care program aims to advance multidisciplinary research and educational programmes consisting of multifaceted approach to ageing that will promote well-being in the older population.
Purpose
1. The goal of the program is to train a new generation of health and other professionals working on aging with interdisciplinary and integrative paradigms and research designs of fundamentals of aging in context.
2.Stimulate the multidisciplinary study of ageing within and across the medicine, nursing, and dentistry,;
3. Coordinate new interdisciplinary partnerships to develop innovative programs of research and education that capture the complexities and inter-connections of ageing issues;
4. Advocate sound policy to enhance the quality of life and to promote the health and welfare of our elderly;
5. Offer graduate and doctoral students training and opportunities in contemporary issues of ageing and old age;
6. Disseminate information about ageing and advances in research to the public, health care professionals, and the scientific community.
Physical Infrastructure
Our department consists of different disciplines and our students have the opportunity to benefit from the classrooms and meeting rooms in different units of our university.
Technical Infrastructure
In our unit, Student Affairs System (OBIS), Academic Information System (AKBİS), Personnel Information System (PERBIS), Additional Course Information System (EDBIS), Public Information System (KBS), Finance Management System (MYS), Budget Allowances System (e- butce), Movable Records Management System (TKYS), Registry Automation System (EBYS) are used. Students can use computers to access the libraries of our university and other universities, and to prepare homework.
