The Department of Economics and Finance has started accepting students in the 2015/2016 academic year. It provides education in two programs: Economics and Finance (Interdisciplinary) Master's and Economics - Finance and Banking (Interdisciplinary) Non-Thesis Master's programs. In the Department of Economics and Finance, the master's with thesis is 4 semesters and the non-thesis master's is 2 semesters.

The mission of the Department of Economics and Finance is not only to teach basic economics and finance knowledge, but also to develop students' research, analysis and evaluation skills to enable them to have a wider range of job opportunities after graduation.

Purpose
The aim of the Department of Economics and Finance is to provide students with the ability to develop policies within the framework of economic theories, to develop impact analysis of policies, and to understand the working mechanisms of national and international financial markets. In this way, it is aimed to graduate our students as a scientific expert with sufficient knowledge to work in every position in public institutions and organizations, regulatory bodies and national / international financial institutions.
Physical Infrastructure
Our department is located in Aydın Faculty of Economics, which is in Aydın Adnan Menderes University Central Campus. The faculty building has an administrative block consisting of 3 floors and a classrooms block consisting of 2 floors, with a closed area of 7318 m² sitting on a ground of 1,939 m². In addition, there are 14 classrooms, 6 for 50 people, 3 for 60 people, 2 for 90 people and 3 for 100 people, and 2 Master's classrooms for 30 people and 3 for 10 people. There is a Computer Laboratory for 52 persons also.
Technical Infrastructure
There are computers, internet access and projectors in every classroom, as well as projectors and presentation facilities in the graduate classrooms. In addition, a 52-seat computer laboratory is also open to the use of our students. Thanks to the proximity of our building to the central library, our students can easily benefit from all the facilities of the library.
