Objectives of the Course

Aims to teach the prevention of maternal and infant deaths, current practices for safe motherhood, pregnancy and the postpartum period-risk neonatal nursing care periods the risky situations and risky situations and to provide information about the postpartum period.

Course Content

definition of safety maternity , importance and scope of, and the prevention of maternal and infant mortality, current practices for safe motherhood, pregnancy and the postpartum period, sexual life, pregnancy risk factors and risky situations, risky labor, pathologic, birth, pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum periods the risky situations and nursing care, newborn and postpartum period risk-risk situations.

7.To be able to explain the labor and the birth of the pathological risk
8. To be able to explain the risky situations and nursing care of Pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period
9.To be able to identify the high risk newborns and to explain the care for them.
