Objectives of the Course

Examining the role of human nutrition in protection and resumed of health in detail. Evaluating the metabolism of macro and micro nutrient biochemistry in terms of physiology, toxicology and nutrition sciences.

Course Content

By emphasizing the assimilation and utilization of macronutrients, energy balance, protein and fat metabolism; the characteristics, biochemical and physiological functions, vitamin-mineral interactions and toxic effects of micronutrients and their interaction with health will be examined in the form of course, discussions and students seminars.

1.Has knowledge the important points related to nutrition at an advanced level.
2.Learns the amount of to be taken with food groups, the daily requirements according to age, gender, physical activity and some diseases of macro and micro nutrients.

4.Gains discussion competency in new issues related to nutrition (thinking, access to information, evaluation and can synthesize).
