Objectives of the Course

The objective of this course is to give information about poultry immunology.

Course Content

The roots of immune system cell population, development of poultry immune system cell populations and immunological functions in poultry; the structures of primary and secondary lymphoid organs, their localization and functions; tissue interaction systems; humoral and cellular immune response; immunological mechanisms against bacterial, viral, fungal, parasitic and tumoral diseases in poultry.
