Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to examine the multidimensional causes of discrimination in working life from a social policy perspective; to analyze the forms of inequality related to gender, disability, age, ethnicity, and migration; and to develop policy proposals that promote a fair, inclusive, and decent work environment.

Course Content

Conceptual framework of discrimination in working life; historical and contemporary dynamics; forms of discrimination based on gender, disability, age, and migration; impact of discrimination on labor market outcomes; strategies to combat discrimination in light of social policy and human rights frameworks; comparative analysis of good practices.
