Objectives of the Course

To be able to position, evaluate, analyze and apply Turkish folkloric literature.

Course Content

Different theorretical approaches in folklore studies; textual analyses; and context related approaches; methods related to evaluating, documenting, and studying folkloric work; discussions on protecting,updating and applying folkloric knowledge
