Objectives of the Course

The main aims of this course are to discuss the essential concepts, terminology and techniques of fieldwork and to provide students who do more systematic and methodic fieldworks.

Course Content

This course includes the background for research and fieldwork studies of Folklore in Turkey.

2.Transform writing field notes into written ethnographic records,
3.carry out a field research through a combination of reading, discussion, hands-on experience various research techniques used by anthropologists and carrying out a field research.
4.apply theoretical knowledge to practical research.
5.Learns to conduct field research and compilation studies based on ethnography.
