Objectives of the Course

Introduction to linguistics and learning it’s fundamental conception. 2- Teaching derivation and classification of languages. 3- To define types of grammar. 4- To familiarize lexichology and phonology. 5- To know syntax and morphology.

1.he student adopts the skill to practice the Turkish language properly and clearly by analyzing it in terms of phonetics , structure and form, syntax and semantics
2.The student can appreciate all the texts related to Turkish Language and Literature from the onrush up to the present from a linguistic and literary aspect.He also finds the opportunity to compare them with the Western literature texts.
3.Defines sub-branches like lexicology and phonology
4.Know the emergence and grouping of the languages
5.When a student completes this course, he/she will recognize universal properties of languages explain history of linguistics and linguistic movements.
