Objectives of the Course

To develop knowledge of the problems emerged by the ancient Greek classical philosophy and with the help of this knowledge problems of contemporary philosophy is tried to be understood.

Course Content

Basic problems and philosophical orientations of the Pre-Socratic thought are gone through. The way to handle these problems, understanding of the method, new issues within the scope of thought, and new perspectives will be considered, evaluated and discussed.
