Course Content

Moving from epistemological and societal debates centered on the relationship between knowledge and information as a result of the Information Revolution and digitalization, selected passages from Floridi’s own texts will be read, and the philosophy of information will be analyzed in its general outlines. In this direction, core concepts such as the "infosphere, informational organism (inforg), information ethics, and onlife" will be emphasized in detail, and their relationship with contemporary problems within the context of digital culture will be addressed.
