Current topics and debates will be carried out through selected areas: globalization, global sociological need, global economic crisis and its social implications, individualization, identity and politics, citizenship, social movements, change in the structure of industry, secular societies and globalization of religion, violence and terror. health, risk, and uncertainties of society, issues and discussions of current sociological perspective.
The aim of this course is to examine the basic issues, concepts and approaches of sociology with a contemporary approach, as well as what sociology means in the 21st century, what difficulties it faces as a profession and discipline, and what opportunities it has in this new era.
