Objectives of the Course

The course aims to teach banking theory based on information asymmetry and banking transactions in detail. Another aim of the course is to examine the role and importance of banks in the economic structure of our country and other countries by making case analysis.

Course Content

Banking theory, fundamentals of money trade, banking functions, organizational structure of banks, individual and corporate banking transactions, credit evaluation processes of banks, profitability and sustainability practices of banks, international banking transactions, national and international regulatory institutions and regulations
