Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to introduce engineered packaging methods and engineering properties of packaging materials to the students.

Course Content

Packaging technologies, transport mechanisms in packaging techniques, engineering properties of packaging materials, quality criteria of foods during packaging and on shelf, innovative/ smart packaging, sustainability in food packaging industry.
