Radio and Television Department 'Cinema and Television' graduate program is aimed at students who want to develop themselves, to conduct research and to have comprehensive knowledge in any of the branches and in both branches of the cinema and television in accordance with their knowledge, interests and abilities. From media aesthetics to cultural studies on television; from documentary cinema to gender and media; The aim of the graduate program, which offers a wide range of elective courses from digital imaging technology to film criticism, is to enable students to acquire the theoretical consciousness required in the field of interest by using scientific perspective and method, and to enable them to perform creative works by combining theory and practice.

Aydın Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Communication started its studies with the decision of the Council of Ministers published in the Official Gazette dated 15 April 2011 and numbered 27906. Was established with the decision of the Executive Board of the Council of Higher Education on 21 December 2011. Radio Television and Cinema department has taken its first students in 2013-2014 academic year. The Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, which had its first graduates in 2018, accepted students for the Master's Program in Cinema and Television in 2018-2019 academic year.

The mission of the program is to educate scientists based on scientific ethics values, who are capable of evaluating the nature and problems of the social-cultural structure in a contemporary, critical and creative way from a communication science point of view, conducting original and free research with contemporary scientific equipment, having a sense of responsibility, social and environmental sensitivity.

To be a department which is active in both national and international level, to produce information on social problems and to provide suggestions and suggestions within the framework of communication sciences.

The aim of the Master's program in Cinema and Television is to ensure that scientists who have the ability to apply this knowledge in a construction have mastered the current approaches, concepts and relations between concepts. Besides, it is to give graduates who are aware of the interaction between communication sciences and other human sciences and follow and discuss the current debates, constructs a unique work in the field with creative and critical thinking, and solve the problems of decision making processes such as problem solving, comparison and planning.

It is planned to create a television studio in which students can practice in the faculty. In this direction, an area of ??180 m² has been allocated and it is structured as a television studio. In addition, a 40-computer MAC Studio, 25 computerized Editing Studio and a photography studio are used for student applications.
