Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide the students with a translational perspective on basic research in cancer (from bedside to bench , from bench to bedside ) and to interpret the multidisciplinary research methods in relation to the basic oncology knowledge of the students.

Course Content

Basic laboratory methods, laboratory preparation stages, cancer cell culture, cancer molecular methods are explained.

Name of Lecturer(s)
Learning Outcomes
1.Explain basic laboratory methods and principles
2.Examine preparation stages in cancer research
3.Tell the cancer cell culture theoretically and practically
4.Examine molecular methods in cancer research
5.They should be able to synthesize and adapt the learned methods from different directions and adapt them to new situations (Example: To discuss why proteins in SDS-PAGE are different in different tissues)
