Objectives of the Course

Defining and examining the properties of phytoestrogens, organohalogens, pesticides, phthalates, plant growth regulators, dioxins and polychlorinated biphenyls, heavy metals and some types of plastic who are natural and synthetic compounds that affect the endocrine system layout; examining possible mechanisms of action of endocrine disruptors, risk analysis and assessing the effects on health.

Course Content

Definition and classification, natural and synthetic endocrine disruptors and properties, mechanisms of action, legal regulations and the effects of health of endocrine disruptors will be investigated.

5.Obtains information about the risk analysis and its effects on health.
6.Learns the relevant legal regulations in the world and Turkey.
7.Gains the analyzing and presentation skills of acquired knowledge.
