Objectives of the Course

Learning effect on the nutritional status of the digestive system diseases, effect of nutrition in the formation and treatment of digestive system diseases and develop individualized medical nutrition therapy programs in individuals with digestive diseases.

Course Content

In this course, incidence, etiology, symptoms, and medical nutrition therapy of digestive system diseases will be discussed.

1.Explains the relationship between food and physiological, morphological functions of digestive system organs.
2.Learn the digestive system diseases and the relationship with nutrition.
3.Examines the pathological changes in the types of diseases of the digestive organs and gains practice skills for medical nutrition therapy according to these changes.
4.Evaluates the nutritional problems of individuals with the digestive system disease and develops solutions.
5.Examines research publications on the subject and gains the ability to situation assessment.
