Objectives of the Course

It has been aimed at informing the student about elimination of the lack of information and providing technical support about the marine aquarium, duly carrying out the methods of quarantine to be applied when the exotic species are brought to our country.

Course Content

Marine aquarium technique, introducing lifelike marine aquarium, biological characteristics, behavior, aquarium health, their visual presentation and maintenance are described.

Week 1 - Theoretical
The definition, importance and historical development of Marine Aquarium
Week 2 - Theoretical
Marine Aquarium and types of construction techniques
Week 3 - Theoretical
The assembly of an aquarium, installation site selection, being equipped and being operated as fully equipped.
Week 4 - Theoretical
Aquarium water and properties, Methods of preparing artificial seawater, Filling the aquarium water and placing the fish in the aquarium
Week 5 - Theoretical
Daily and periodic maintenance of the aquarium. Feeding and feeding techniques
Week 6 - Theoretical
In the sea aquarium widely used divided into groups of tropical and cold-water fish overall presentation.
Week 7 - Theoretical
The fish are fed in the aquarium: eels, sea catfish, angle fish
Week 8 - Theoretical
Cardinal fish,Snapper, Tragger fish
