This course aims to gain knowledge about the basic concepts in pediatric surgical nursing and skills for implementation and evaluation.
This course includes the topics preoperative evaluation and preparation of the child, nursing care after surgical procedures and family education, evidence based practice in pediatric surgical clinics
| 1. | Identify concepts about pediatric surgical nursing |
| 2. | Plan nursing care of newborns and children that will undergo surgery. |
| 3. | Use knowledge and skills on nursing care of children in surgery. |
| 4. | 4. Determine the edicational requirements of families and child with an age-specific and holistic approach |
