To provide fundamental knowledge on the behavior and mix optimization of composite materials required in design, research, and production applications.
Relationships between microstructure and properties in composites; behavior of particulate composites under loading; stress states; combined models and relationships; rheological models; other modeling approaches; classification and general properties of fiber-reinforced composites; composites reinforced with parallel and non-parallel fibers; discontinuous fiber composites; cement-based composites.
