Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is give an information about genetic elements and genetic mechanisms in prokaryotes.

Course Content

The definition of prokaryot, differences between prokaryotes and eukaryotes, mutations, genetic transfer mechanisms, recombination, viruses, prokaryotic genetics and evolution.

6.Be able to analyse relationship between prokaryotic genetics and evolution
7.Be able to recognize uses of genome mining in prokaryotic genetics
8.Be able to get knowledge about prokaryotic proteomics
