Use evidence-based criteria to develop information based on selected complementary and alternative therapies and to assess the risks and benefits of selected treatment modalities. To examine the role of complementary and alternative treatment modalities in health care and to describe the effects of complementary and alternative treatment modalities for selected clinical conditions. To increase awareness and understanding of students to help patients confidently recommend complementary medical treatments and to discover new ways of observable health and treatment methods and how they can be integrated into future applications.
