In this course it is aimed to give information about sexual dysfunctions and classification, to understand psychological reasons and to introduce treatment methods.
Sex therapy today: current ıssues and future perspectives; sexual desire/arousal disorders in women; persistent genital arousal disorder; orgasmic disorders in women; dyspareunia and vaginismus, physical therapy management and treatment of sexual pain disorders; sexual desire disorders in men; treatment of rapid ejaculation: psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, and combined therapy; treatment of delayed ejaculation; erectile dysfunction: integration of medical and psychological approaches; sexuality and illness; sexual dysfunction and childhood sexual abuse; therapy with sexual minorities; sexuality and culture; paraphilia-related disorders: the evaluation and treatment of nonparaphilic hypersexuality; sexual variations and atypical sexual behavior; gender dysphoria and transgender experiences; aging and sexuality; theories of sexuality counseling; assessment in sexuality counseling
