Objectives of the Course

Protein purification is vital for the characterization of the function, structure and interactions of the protein of interest. The aim of this course is to learn how to obtain, identify and purify proteins from animal, plant or microbial sources.

Course Content

The extraction of proteins from an animal, plant or microbial source, quantification, purification by various methods and protein visualization are performed.
