To gain information about the concept of special needs, the individuals with special needs, the services that meet special needs, the role of different disciplines that provide service in the dimension of special needs, the support programs for children and families with special needs.
Definition of "special needs" and "disable", children and their special needs areas, reasons for special needs, recognition and evaluation of individuals with special needs, children with special needs in speech, language, hearing, cognitive, processes will be emphasized.

| 1. | Know how to determine the developmental characteristics of children with special needs. |
