Objectives of the Course

Developing an advanced level of instrumental performance with Bendir, Daire and Kudüm instruments used in the tradition of Turkish Classical Music Advanced development of the performance of Bendir and Asma Davul instruments and local rhythm patterns used in Turkish Folk Music tradition Accompanying traditional Turkish Music verbal and instrumental works with percussion instruments and comprehending the performance characteristics of the rhythmic structure

Course Content

The concept of rhythm, which is one of the basic layers of music, will be examined within the framework of Turkish Music tradition and rhythmic structures will be applied in the context of traditional performance features
