Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to teach the youth languages existing in the world to the students and in this context, to give examples from the introduction and use of the youth language, mostly created by Turkish youth in the post 1980s.

Course Content

The use of Kanak language, which is the youth language, in a broad sense, its influence, opinions of the people and linguists on this subject, the use of this language by Turkish and German authors and the study of the works.

What is tongue? The definition of language, its place and importance in human life as a social theory.
Week 2 - Theoretical
The place of youth language among world languages.
Week 3 - Theoretical
The historical development and phases of the youth language.
Week 4 - Theoretical
Youth language and use in Germany.
Week 5 - Theoretical
Opposite languages and Angelistic.
Week 6 - Theoretical
Researching and learning "Gastarbeiterdeutsch", a new language that started with the migration of workers to Germany.
Week 7 - Theoretical
Emphasis on the reasons for the emergence of a second generation and a new youth language in Germany.

Naming this newly released youth language with different names, Kanak Sprak, Döner Deutsch, Türken Slang, Ghetto Sprache, Türken Schlag etc.
