Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to examine the characterictics of foreign language curriculum from past to present and foreign language curriculum developed in Turkey and in the world in terms of educational philosophy.

Course Content

What is the language? What is the differences between EFL and ESL? The nature of language, effects of philosophy to learning and teaching foreign language, features of the new foreign language curriculum, comparasion of the new program to other programs, basic objectives of the foreign language curriculum.
