Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to give information about habitats, diversity, physiology and isolation of prokaryotes belonging to domain Archaea and Bacteria and to teach adaptation mechanisms of prokaryotes to extreme environments.

Characteristics of prokaryotes, comparison of domain Archaea and Bacteria, extremophile prokaryotes from two domain, adaptation mechanisms in extremophiles, industrial metabolites from extremophiles
