Learning general information about learning and teaching, planning the lesson in geography education, organizing content and preparing appropriate educational situations. In addition, it is aimed to develop specific and principled knowledge about each learning theory, creating learning environments suitable for learning theory and designing teaching activities.
The meaning of learning and teaching geography; purpose and basic principles of geography teaching; history of geography teaching; reflections of learning and teaching approaches on geography teaching; basic skills in geography teaching; in-class application examples; current trends and problems in geography teaching; components of an effective geography teaching; a social, cultural and economic perspective on geography teaching.
