Objectives of the Course

This course will provide an introduction to statistical methods using the SPSS programme. The aim is to support our department’s students in their future scientific research and to equip them with the skills to interpret analytical results.

Course Content

Introduction to SPSS, SPSS Menus, Data Entry in SPSS, Calculating Descriptive Statistics in SPSS, Using the SPSS programme: Probability Distributions (Binomial and Poisson Distributions), Confidence Intervals, Hypothesis Testing, Regression and Correlation Analyses
