Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is; to inform students about haploid plant production and its use in agriculture, to teach in vivo and in vitro haploid plant production methods.

Course Content

In this course, haploid plants and their importance, usage areas, microsporogenesis and macrosporogenesis, in vivo and in vitro haploid plant production methods, factors affecting haploid plant production, folding of chromosomes in haploid plants and determination of ploidy levels will be given.
