Objectives of the Course

This course aims to analyze international regimes established on contemporary global issues, along with the difficulties encountered within these regimes, and their successes/failures along with their reasons.

Course Content

After examining international regime theories, their effectiveness, and the conditions for states to join regimes, this course addresses international regimes on contemporary issues such as global warming, refugees, human rights, statelessness, nuclear disarmament, counterterrorism, minorities, etc., in terms of their founding purposes, strengths and weaknesses, and underlying reasons.
