Objectives of the Course

The course aims at analyzing the ethnic conflicts in the Balkan region within the frame of nationalism theories and comprehending the position of the Balkans in the international arena.

Course Content

Assessing the general view of the ethnic and cultural structure of the Balkan peninsula and examining the historical background of the problems of the region.
