Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to examine Turkey's policy towards forced and voluntary migrants from a legal, political and social perspective.

Course Content

This course examines the current immigration policy of Turkey, which hosts the world's largest number of forced migrants, in terms of legal, political and social aspects, both for foreigners and forced migrants. The Foreigners and International Protection Law No. 6458, the Citizenship Law No. 5901, social integration studies, the temporary protection regime and the legal situation of Syrian citizens in our country are the main topics covered by the course.
