The general Outlook of the Ottoman State during Abdulhamid II’s reign and the position of Abdulhamid II within this, the conditions that Ottoman State were in and their reflections on Abdulhamid II, the changes that occured during the period of Abdulhamid II and the discussion of Turkish politics’ continuity, and Ottoman modernization during Abdulhamid II’s reign and comparisons between the situation before Abdulhamid II.
Most of the course content consists of the period of Abdulhamid II, between 1876-1909.
