At the end of the course students learn the chronological order, general features and effects of thought systems formed in mankind history from ancient Greeks until modern times.
Social thought in Ancient Greek philosophy, social philosophies in the Middle Ages; Farabi’s Medinetü'l-Fazıla, Ibn Khaldun, the social conditions of the Renaissance, Printing and its results, Reformation, Scientific Revolution, Vico, Montesquieu, S. Simon and A. Comte.
