Objectives of the Course

In this course, the Turkish Independence events that prepared the war aims to examine the development of the war and changing the process until the end of the Lausanne Peace Treaty and transforming world events across relationships and has developed policies between Turkey and foreign countries.

Course Content

After the First World War, which caused the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, the National Struggle for the salvation of the country from which it fell, and the national domination under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Pasha and the stages of the realization of the national independence are discussed. The process from the end of World War I to the signing of the Lausanne Treaty is included in the course.
