Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to examine contemporary Turkish-Russian relation with respect to the periods, events and actors starting from the Treaty of Küçük Kaynarca until the collapse of the Ottoman Empire.

Course Content

Examining Turkish-Russian Relations starting with the Treaty of Küçük Kaynarca, evaluating relevant important events to understand Russian approach to the Ottoman Empire, international relations’ effect on Turkish-Russian Relation in the 19th century.
