Objectives of the Course

To examine the archives and manuscripts containing the basic sources of the Ottoman Empire belonging to the New Age and to ensure that these sources are utilized in writing works at the academic level.

Course Content

Introducing the documents and notebooks in the archives related to the New Age History of the Ottoman Empire, especially in the Istanbul Ottoman Archives, ISAM, Istanbul Mufti's Office and Ankara National Library's Şer'iyye Registers Archive.
