Objectives of the Course

Some important species of families in the subclass Acari and their general taxonomical features and the identification characteristics will be mentioned.

Course Content

Taxonomical features and the identification characteristics in the super orders of Parasitiformes and Acariformes of the subclass Acari including important plant feeding mites and their predatory mites are explained.
