Objectives of the Course

The objective of this course is to study the chemical structures of dye plants, natural dye materials and cultivation techniques of some important dye plants.

Course Content

The origin, history, importance and the use of dye plants, plant-based natural coloring agents, dyestuffs isolate and dyeing methods, the classification of dye plants according to chemical structure, morphological traits and cultivation techniques, morphological traits and growing techniques of natural dye plants of primary, secondary and tertiary containing colored dye in our country.
