Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is; to investigate the synthesis steps of fatty acids in plants and the genes, enzymes and proteins involved in every stage of synthesis and to investigate how and how the synthesis mechanisms under stress conditions are affected and how to change the synthesis of fatty acids by gene modification techniques.

Course Content

The content of course is to inform about the biosynthesis flow chart of the fatty acids synthesized in plants and to transfer the biotechnology techniques to obtain the desired properties in food consumption.
